If you've got the need, we've got the knowledge to convert your vehicle or equipment to clean-burning liquid propane gas (LPG) or compressed natural gas (CNG).
Fleet owners, businesses, Federal, State and Local Governments benefit from the substantial cost savings as well as the positive environmental impact through the use of clean burning natural gas. There are a number of grants and incentives available.
All of our kits are designed to use forklift tanks, which come in 8 and 10 gallon sizes. These are not designed to be mounted underneath your vehicle. The diameter of these tanks is 12 inches. An 8 gallon forklift tank is 27" long, a 10 gallon is about 6 " longer than that. All necessary parts to mount one tank are included in our kits. We recommend that you add a second set of brackets if you are planning to carry more than one tank. These tanks must be mounted in an open air environment. We do not sell forklift tanks for cars or newer SUV’s because there is no place to mount the tanks.
The forklift style tanks are ideal for pickup trucks or dedicated convertibles such as topless Broncos and Jeeps. Vehicles/Broncos with hardtops need a vapor seal tank. Vapor seal tanks have special venting for enclosed vehicles. They are custom built on an individual basis. |
